A Bit of History
The Bluebonnet Diner, Bluebonnet is derived from the Texas state flower, originated as a 1950 Worcester Lunch Car. We’ve become a local favorite that’s famous for freshly prepared home-style cooking, a full-service cocktail bar, serving breakfast all day long, and everyone loves the G Scale electric train that runs in one of our dining rooms.
Many additions have been made to our restaurant over the years. One of the dining rooms was added in1960. Then in 1967, the full-service bar with attached dining room and the 160-seat Banquet Facility were added.
The late Jim and Phil Greco founded the Bluebonnet Diner, but second-generation owner and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America Jim Greco leads his culinary team in continuing to serve freshly prepared home-style meals to his valued customers.
The versatility of our banquet facility is present in a week's schedule, so let Jim Greco, Owner, Banquet Manager and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, assist you in making your event a success. Call (413) 584-3333 to inquire about availability.
